"Howie" and I went to Nutana High School together so many years ago. He always had a smile and gentle pat on the shoulder for everyone. But he was a quiet, genuinely nice guy. He enjoyed making others happy, an easy thing for him to do. I saw him only a few times after I left Saskatoon, but he always remembered our bygone days and we would share a laugh. A gentle man, he will be missed by many.
