My deepest condolences to my cousins, Alana and Kevin on the loss of their mother and my aunt.
I have many memories of my Aunt Peg, and one of my favourite memories is sitting around the organ at my granparents home in Kelliher while my Aunt Peg played and we all sang along. I remember learning how to sing "Five Foot Two" and "Grandmother's Lie Soap"
I can see her at the organ, while Grandpa Joe played the accordian, while they tried to figure out what to play, laughing and enjoying herself.
She's influenced my life, she's shared in my tears and has taught me many a card game. I'll miss her sense of humour and how she could tell a joke, I'll miss being able to pull her into the "Butterfly"on the dance floor, and her sense of adventure that we've all shared in growing up.
Watching "My Little Chickadee" with Mae West and WC Fields, with my dad and aunt will always be a fond memory.
Although she is no longer on this earth, I know she is always with us in spirit, and I'm very grateful for the time we've all shared throughout our lives.
I know that she will always be in our hearts as we continue to share memories with our families for years to come.
