I met Harvey at ITC with my daughter who is still fighting her own cancer battle. We all became family and Harvey had the most beautiful smile and even with his pain he always managed to be kind, you knew he was a beautiful soul. My heart goes out to all of you and I will never forget Harvey and his beautiful family. Sending much love and prayers to all. You will always be in my heart and prayers.

Harvey was an inspiration to all that he was in contact with at ITC. A fellow musician and loving and supportive husband and father. God has a way of bringing souls together on this earthly plane, so that we may be reunited in the next phase of our journey.

Dear Joan & family,
We are sadden by your loss. Harvey was such a gentleman who enjoyed the zest for life. I remember when we first moved to Saskatoon how Harvey went out of his way to make us feel welcome. It was soon after we got to know you Joan at our crazy builder trips...it was so much fun and Harvey would be there in the thick of it all with our laughs and giggles with the Saskatchewan crew. Even with the countless moments of having so much fun when it got down to work Harvey was always the true professional keeping his clients front and centre. Our prayers are with you. Tal & Donna Steinson

I met Harvey late in my therapy at ITC. Although I didn't know Harvey very well, he came across as a genuine and very approachable person. He was always warm. When I think of Harvey I am comfortable. I'm sure he walks hand in hand in his paradise with God. I am glad I had the opportunity to talk with him.

Joan and family, we are so very sorry for your loss. It was always a pleasure to be around Harvey and hear his laughter and jokes and of course his guitar playing. He has been a role model for many of us at The Co-operators and we will miss him. May the memories of all the happy times with family and friends help carry you through the tough road ahead.

I'm guessing one of Harvey's greatest moments was when his whole family performed together at Leslie's wedding. Such a proud family man and for good reason. Condolences to everyone.

We met Harvey 20 years ago for insurance. No matter what he was in the middle of, he made a point to take your call. His door was always open and walking in to his office was like going for coffee with a longtime, soul-weathered loving friend. Being woodworkers, he perked right up when we complimented him on his new rosewood office. He always had a smile, a joke, a never ending supply of stories about his family's latest adventure (he was so very, very proud of you all) to share and a laugh even while he was talking business. Our deepest sympathies to the family.
