Obituary of Florence Margaret Dolman

In loving memory of Florence Margaret Dolman, who passed away peacefully on October 17, 2019 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 83. Flo was born in Wapella, Saskatchewan August 24, 1936, the fourth daughter of Alvin and Flora Nixon. She married Lyle Dolman in 1958; moved to the farm at Craik and raised four children while working as a nursing assistant at Craik Hospital. Flo enjoyed time with family and friends. She was very actively involved in the community as a volunteer and enjoyed camping, curling and golf. Her nature was to be a caregiver and even after she could no longer work in the hospital she provided support and care to others in a variety of ways. Flo was predeceased by Lyle in 1993. She is lovingly remembered by her four children: Heather Truber (Terry); Richard Dolman (Betty); Nola Dolman and Neil Dolman (Carla) and grandchildren Alex Dolman; Lance Dolman; Ryan Truber (Sam); Evan Truber; Colton Dolman and Grace Dolman as well as her sister, Eleanor Sedgewick; sisters-in-law, Isabel Dolman and Eileen Dolman as well as many nieces, nephews and great- nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Craik Legion hall, Craik, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family wishes to thank the kind and caring staff at Stensrud Lodge in Saskatoon where Flo lived for the last few months of her life.
