Obituary of John Frank Busch
John Frank Busch left this world peacefully in St' Anne's Home at the age of 104 years.
He was born September 3, 1915 in Regina SK to Philip Busch and Elisabeth Gluttings. John was the last survivor of 13 siblings. He completed his schooling at Campion College in Regina in 1934 then co-managed his father's farm near Pilot Butte for 10 years. He met the love of his life, Ann Wingerter in 1942 and were married in 1946. In 1947 he moved to Saskatoon where he worked in the plumbing and heating business until his retirement in 1980. John was involved with the church council, Boy Scouts leader, and the Cosmopolitan Club. John's favorite pastime was to putter around in his garden and in the fall to go duck hunting with his son. He was predeceased by his wife after 61 years.
John is survived by his children, Robert (Melfort), Joanne (Kim) Sieben, Saskatoon, Wendy (Rick) Mah, (Saskatoon), Marilyn (Tom) Loster, (Wakaw) his 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1:00 pm at St. Philip's Church, followed by a small reception.
