We would like to send the family our sincere condolences of Bill’s passing... It was with much regret that we could not attend Bill’s service as Roland was in the hospital with a heart attack. He was such a dear friend to Roland and he will miss him dearly. The respect and friendship he had for him will never be forgotten.

Dear Bev, Rob and Torrie,
Please accept our most sincere condolences on Bill's passing. Bill was a great guy, he always had such a positive attitude and an easy smile. He certainly was well liked and appreciated for his efforts, even by his political opponents.Conservatives in Saskatchewan owe him gratitude for resurrecting the party, it was not an easy feat but we have fond memories of the battle. We know that all of you sacrificed family time to the cause.Bill lives on in your and our memories.
You are in our thoughts,
Roy and Shirley Haddock

My deepest condolences on Minister McKnight’s passing. I worked in Bill’s staff office when he was the Minister of National Defence. Met him once at a holiday gathering. He was always a gentleman and I enjoyed working in his office. You can take pride in Bill’s integrity and class. Take care of yourselves.
