Agnes Rimmer passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2019 surrounded by special friends and family. Agnes was born on October 16, 1927 in Mossbank, Saskatchewan. She lived in Beaverton, ON, White Rock, BC and Saskatoon, SK. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Don Rimmer and her brother Les. She is survived by children Dennis (Diane) Rimmer of Radisson, SK, David Rimmer (Erwin Jaeger) of Ottawa, ON, Leslie Anne (Art) Davidson of Lloydminster, AB; grandchildren Michele Williamson of Phoenix, AZ, Renee Rimmer-Chadwick of Ferndale WA, Jae (Beth) Blakley of Saskatoon, SK, Brittany Ford of Saskatoon SK, Kevin Davidson (Danielle Barclay) of Edmonton, AB, Scott Davidson of Saskatoon, SK, as well as five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Ross Doherty of Saskatoon and special friends Janet Marcoux, Dave Marcoux, Taylor Marcoux Johnson and Jess Marcoux all of Saskatoon. Agnes was a life long member of the Anglican Church of Canada. She had many jobs but by far her favorite was at Quaker Oats and Lipsett Shoes. She loved life to the fullest, enjoying travelling, photography, history, genealogy, shopping, and classes with Saskatoon Senior Learning. Agnes loved gardening and her gardens were truly incredible. Agnes was famous for her adventurous spirit and her love for family and friends. The family would like to thank the loving staff at Central Haven Special Care Home for the outstanding care they provided to Agnes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sherbrooke Foundation or the Saskatoon SPCA. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home (4th Ave. & 25th St.) followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery and a reception at the Edwards Family Centre.
