We are so sorry to hear of George’s passing!Shirley and I knew George from teenagers and I was one of his best friends.I only went searching when we did not receive his Christmas card and letter.George and I. Went to Highschool,Gordon Bell, and both took Engineering at U of M together. We double dated with George providing transportation with an Austin,Hillman Minx,or other English Car from hi Dad’s dealership.I flew with George as pilot in Arencas, two seat monoplane out of Stevenson field in Winnipeg when George was accumulating flying hours pre Air Canada piloting career.
It would be appreciated if a loved one could contact us.We have so many memories that we would love to share.

I met George at the UofS Pys Ed building as we warmed up for our lunchtime runs. I always enjoyed visiting and that included recently our visits at the fieldhouse. I will miss our visits. My condolences to your family.
