Our sincere condolences to Gene's family. Gene taught our son how to play guitar at a young age of 5, his patience and encouragement meant a lot to us. Kevin retired from guitar lessons after a few months and picked it up again a few years later. Gene was there again with patience and loads of encouragement. He would always tell us "he's got it" and to this day, he does! Our daughter played drums for "Endangered Species" for a couple of years and once again, Gene was always encouraging and complimentary. We followed their gigs and enjoyed listening to Gene play and sing. We loved when you would come and jam in our basement. You always had plenty of stories (sometimes a little long, lol) but we enjoyed your friendship just the same. Rest in peace our friend.
