Obituary of Hedwig Wilhelmina Bodie
Heddy passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 93. She is survived by daughter Marlyne (Wayne) Johnson; granddaughters Stacey (Brad) Godfrey and Carla (Dion) Balson; great-grandchildren Kaylee and Morgan Balson; brother Henry (Evelyn) Armbruster; as well as nieces and nephews. Her husband, Joe, of 70 years, passed away in March of 2018. She was predeceased by three brothers and seven sisters. There will be a visitation Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 – 4th Ave. N.). The Funeral for Heddy will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Mayfair United Church ( 902 33rd Street West ) with Rev. Cathy Coates officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
