Obituary of Gene Walter Luciw

Gene “Geno” Walter Luciw born on April 18th, 1953 passed away at the age of 66 on June 15, 2019.  Geno was born and raised in Winnipeg.  In his early 40’s he moved to Kelowna B.C. then later moved to Saskatoon where he worked as a night auditor preparing personal tax income returns for friends.  He was a talented cook and avid gardener.  He enjoyed walking, visits to the beach, home renovations, sewing, long conversations and hosting dinner parties where he always had a beer in his hand.  He was very supportive of our local LGBtq18. Favorite family times included Ukrainian Christmas Eve, hot tubbing and Wednesday night beers at Pink.  Geno is survived by his loving partner Robert Croteau.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sask Alley Cats Association (Box 621 Elrose, SK  S0L 0Z0).  A pot luck gathering will be held on Friday, June 21st at 616 Ave H South at 2:00 p.m.
