Hi Wayne,
You may not remember me, but I sure remember you and your Mom and Dad. My name was Judy Ann Forsyth. (now Judy Ann Sherin) My Mom and Dad were Ken and Charlie Merle Forsyth. I have many wonderful memories of your family. We spent New Year's eve with your Mom and Dad at my parents home on Shannon Crescent. But many years before that, we often spent time with you and your parents at our home on Ave K, and then on Idylwyld Drive. Our parents were the best of friends!
Another clear memory I have of your Mother was on Sept. 19th 1970. It was my birthday, and we were in Hong Kong. I phoned my Mom and Dad - but they were out, and your Mom answered the phone, so I had a nice chat with her. (It was evening in Hong Kong, but morning in Saskatoon.) I'm not sure why my parents weren't home and why your Mom was there, but I was so glad to talk to her. It was good to hear a good old Canadian accent, and catch up on the news. (My husband at the time, Pierre LePage, and I were away from Canada for 2 years traveling around the world, visiting 39 countries).
Your Mom and Dad were very special in my parent's life. They were always there for our family. They were treasured friends. Your Mom will be missed.
