So glad we were able to touch base with Anita in December and to reminisce about old times in Pangman. I played many a joyful game of bridge with her and Aunt Kay and this will be some of my fondness memories of her. All the best to her extended family.

Anita was busy raising her family when I came to teach in Pangman in the early '60s. Stuart was in my grade 9 class at that time. She was active in community events. Many people benefitted from her interest and guidance. She continued to be interested in others throughout her life. We extend our sympathy to her families and give thanks that she was such a positive influence in their lives.

We are sorry to hear of Anita's passing. Terry was one of her students in Pangman School and he appreciated her as his teacher.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Auntie Anita. She was an amazing lady.
It's agreed that the siblings were close knit and they looked forward to their phone conversations. I also had a number of phone visits with Anita over the years and always enjoyed talking with her.
One cute story I recall is that your parents and my parents decided it was time for some beer. Anita suggested that she didn't want a full beer and would be happy to just have one-third of each of the other's beers. Hmm, pretty clever way to get a full beer and have everyone else settle for two-thirds of a bottle.
We are glad to have one of Anita's paintings on display on top of our china cabinet. It's a scene that suits the nearby Silver Birch pattern of Royal Albert china that we got from Mom's estate.
We send our sympathies to the family and we're thinking of you at this time. Dennis and Gail Glasscock from BC.

I was a student at Pangman, SK. Remember Anita drilling the french into us. Speak a few french words from time to time, only learned from those many years ago. I enjoyed reading her grandson's memories of her on her page, so heartwarming. She was a strong woman and a woman most of us students never got to know on that level. My condolences to the family. RIP Anita.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. She will always be "Mrs Armstrong" in my memory but as I got older and would go to Pangman to visit my parents she was then Anita who I would also visit. A silly memory I have of her was one day I was there picking raspberries with my mom and your mom came out and said look at all these raspberries you guys have missed. You have to look under the leaves you know.. She was right or course and we found another ice cream bucket full. May your memories of your mom and grandma fill your heart as full as it can be. She will be missed by so many people. Lynn.
