Obituary of Norman Marin Bonthoux

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Norman Bonthoux of Esterhazy, Sask. announces his passing at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon on February 26th, 2019 at the age of 72 years.

Norman's memory will be forever cherished by his loving family: son Morgan (Fay) Bonthoux and granddaughter Sarah Henry. Previously departed family is father Wilfred and mother Marjorie and his brother, Raymond. Those he leaves behind are his brothers, Daniel, Harold, and Earnest.

Born in Carrot River Saskatchewan, on June 30, 1946, he worked the majority of his years in Kenora Ontario, where he and his wife at the time raised their son. His occupation was in forestry and many of his happiest moments were recollected in nature. A man of few, but strong friendships he enjoyed time with those close to him most. Mechanically inclined, he busied himself with fixing all manner of machines, for himself and others.

In retirement, he returned to his birth province Saskatchewan, living on acerage outside of Esterhazy.

Following the wishes of Norman, there will be no service.
