Dearest karen, Jack and Sherry. Our deepest sympathies to you all. George was a wonderful person. He lit up the room wherever he was. I will never forget his laugh or the twinkle in his eyes. He was a joy to be around and he will be terribly missed. I pray that your sadness and grief will be over ridden by the many happy memories you have of him. He was a rare jewel who brought so much light and happiness to everyone he came in contact with. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family of George Wur,
I was deeply saddened upon seeing George's photo in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix Obit. He and I had several things in common. We both were brought up in West Selkirk Manitoba. We both worked in our parent's stores on the south side of Manitoba Ave. His store only two stores to the east of ours.
We met again here in Saskatoon at the Silver Plate dinners and enjoyed relating the "old times" He playfully loved calling me by the diminutive "Jackie".
Please accept my sincerest sympathy for your loss. George was a true gentleman with a welcoming smile and laugh. I know he will be missed.
Dr. Jack Shiffman.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. He was such a wonderful man, we always enjoyed our visit with him when he would come to Dr. Shenouda's office. He was so proud of his yard and beautiful flowers, we will miss seeing him, his stories, beautiful pictures and his BIG smiles. You were so blessed to say that he was your dad, you were so loved.
