It was an honor being able to call Bill my friend over the past 40 years. We shared many adventures together and he came to my assistance on many occasions for which I will be eternally grateful. It was our mutual love of music which brought us together - even though we engaged in countless disagreements over the years about each other's musical likes and dislikes. Bill will be sorely missed by many, many people - especially at the May long weekend's Gordstock festivities at which Bill played a big part for a number of years.
