Dear Gail and the entire Ashley Family, I have many fond memories of Mrs. Ashley from my time growing up on the farm at Eatonia and enjoyed my visits to your farm at Mantario during our school days. I can still hear her saying to us, "Now girls, remember..." Later I would occasionally see her in Eatonia when we were back to visit family. My sympathy to all of Isabel’s family. Your Mom was always so kind to me, from when I was growing up in Mantario to just liiving down the street from Mike and I in Eatonia. I have many good memories of her and Marie Bastian always hopping in the car and heading off. I used to tease them about their busy social life and the two of them would giggle. I missed seeing your Mom around town when she left Eatonia. Feeling for all of you.
