It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Dad our "Papa" at Melfort Hospital, on the morning of Friday, December 21, 2018.

Andy was born in Wakefield, Quebec to Jean and Allan Monette. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years Lorna Monette, his children Renee and (George) Hughes, Joanne and (Paul) Landman, Shannon Monette-Rings, Allyson and (Scott) Alm, his mother Jean Monette, and four brothers Steve, Mike, Rick and Clem Monette, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his father Allan Monette, his brother John Monette, and daughter Jennifer Monette. 

Andy touched many people throughout his lifetime. He was a devoted family man, and avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing with family and friends. 

Andy spent 40 + years in the trucking and warehouse industry where he built a reputation for himself as one of the best and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Andy will forever be in our hearts and memories.

The funeral service will be held at Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 – 4^th Ave North, Saskatoon), on Sunday December 30, 2018, at 2pm, following the visitation at 1pm.
