I met Al when I would go to Preston Park to visit my mother. I often stopped to have a quick visit or coffee with his morning crew and we’d share farm news and stories. He was such a friendly happy and kind man. I was sad to learn of his passing. He will be missed!

Sorry to here about Allan’s passing. He was a great man. He was friends of my grandpa(John marjerison), and grandpa enjoyed all the visits he had with Allan.

Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of Allan. For all of my family, near and far, Allan and Margaret were central "glue" in the family web of connections. The memories of warmth, welcoming and caring go back long and deep, despite the distances we have dispersed to. For many years, no trip to Saskatoon was complete without at least a phone call with Allan and Margaret both, and more usually a shared and always very enjoyable meal at their restaurant of choice. And, among many things I treasure about him, I will never forget the care Allan took of his aunt Mary near the end of her life, and she wasn't by any means the only one of his family to receive that care.
Allan, you carved a large place of openness, openheartedness and love-in-action in our hearts. That place remains open.

I am sorry to hear the news of Al Brown's passing. No trip to visit my parents in Saskatoon was complete without a coffee with Al. He always had a smile and a joke. He was warm and welcoming to everyone he met. He will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Allan. May you take comfort from your family and friends who will love and support you at this time.
I will always take pleasure in my memories of when we would visit the farm with Mom and Dad, Aunt Mary and Uncle Everton and visiting you.

Our deepest condolences to all of you on the sudden loss of Allan, a warm and steadfast light, a beacon of love and hope, and true gift to the world. I am grieving considerably, as the memories of him pour out of me - from the earliest to the most recent (which isn't recent enough, being about 2.5 yrs ago now). All those memories involve his deep interest in family, warmth and engagement with life and work, and optimistic spirit.
We (Joan and I) will be attending his funeral on Thursday with hearts that are for now heavy, but more importantly with hearts that have been forever enriched, lightened and emboldened by his mark left on them.
