Obituary of August Lenuik

AUGUST WILLIAM LENUIK
1944-2018
It is with extreme sadness the family announces the tragic death of August Lenuik, which occurred on Monday, November 5, 2018. He is survived by his son Greg (Lisa); daughter Nicole (Rob); spouse Elaine, sisters Eleanor (Mike), Adeline, Diane and grandchildren; Emily, Emma, Julian and Brady.
August was born January 15, 1944 in Canora, Saskatchewan. He was raised on the family farm, which he took over at a young age after his father passed away. He attended Buchanan high school where his passion for curling began. August was an avid curler, a pilot and held various jobs throughout his life but he was forever a farmer at heart. His greatest job was raising his children and helping them to pursue their passions of hockey and figure skating. August was a faithful parishioner at Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Saskatoon.  He was a devoted Saskatchewan Rough Riders fan and always enjoyed many post game analysis over the phone with his son. He was an amazing cook and prepared many feasts for friends and family using his own creative recipes. August was a generous man with a big heart, who will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends. 

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.
