Obituary of Donna Rose Teena Lucian

Donna was born October 15, 1952 in Moose Lake, Manitoba to her parents Marian and Michael Lucian.

Donna was raised in Moose Lake and then moved to The Pas, Manitoba where she attended high school. She helped work on the family farm and was always on her horse disappearing.

In her early days, Donna enjoyed playing Slo-Pitch, photography and horseback riding.

Playing the harmonica and singing was a great passion of hers which was always a part of her life. She touched the lives of everyone who heard her play and sing. She was not only an artist with her music, she was also an artist in birch bark biting and putting pencil to paper drawing one of her favorite things, horses.

She lived part of her life in Alberta and moved back to Moose Lake to take over the business that her parents built then later became co-owner of Wally's Place at Clearwater Lake. She continued her life in Saskatoon where she loved talking to people at the Dakota Dunes Casino, until her retirement. She was honored with a star blanket for her 10 years of service as a security officer.

Her happiest place to be was at her cabin at Clearwater Lake, she also was enthusiastic to attend local jam sessions and music festivals all over Canada.

Spending time with her grandchildren was a great joy to Donna. She taught them a lot and they learned how to ride horses and to be free spirits, she took great pride in having them be a part of this.

Donna will be lovingly remember by her Sons Michael (Charmaine) and Wally. Her eight siblings, Ramona, Marjorie, Mike, Derek, Danny, Adrienne, Coleen, Eileen. Grandchildren; Kristen, Jaydin, Joey, Shayla, Caylin, Lucas, Kenzie. Nieces and Nephews; Stephanie, Holly, Elijah, Tyler, Karli, Tanner, Hazel, Virginia, Basil, Amanda, Pam, Andrew, Mitchell, Steven, Harry, Carson, Quentin, Harley, and special friends that she considered family, too numerous to mention.

Donna was predeceased by her parents Marian and Michael, and sister Beverly.

We will all miss her so very much may she soar with the eagles and play her harmonica forever.

There will be a Memorial Reception held on Friday 9^th November 2018 from 3pm to 6pm, at the W.A Edwards Family Center, 333 - 4^th Avenue North, Saskatoon.
