NORMA ALICE KARLENZIG

November 19, 1927 – November 1, 2018

Norma Karlenzig died peacefully on November 1, completing a full life that she lived with compassion, determination and dignity.

Norma was an exceptionally caring and thoughtful person who gained meaning and fulfillment through her faith, her volunteer work and travels, and especially in the love she shared with her late husband, Edward, their sons, her relatives and her many friends.

In her daily life, Norma had a kind word or deed for everyone. For her, the needs of other people always came first. With this value in mind, it was Norma’s wish not to have any memorial service. Instead, those who knew Norma are asked to remember her with acts of compassion and generosity towards others.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Crocus Co-op or the Circle Drive Special Care Home, where Norma benefited from such wonderful care in her final months, would be greatly appreciated.
