To the Korinetz family,
I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I attended church with Carol for over 20 years. She was a remarkable, strong and caring woman. Carol asked me to visit her because she had some mittens for children at my school. When I arrived, I was surprised to see two enormous bags of handknit mittens and scarves. It was a wonderful gesture and a concrete example of your mom's generosity. The mittens were warm, well-made, often in a cornucopia of colours and purposeful. They symbolized for me, your mom. Carol was strong. bright, colourful, purposeful, warm and she got 'the job done'. She shared her opinions, love, wonders and concerns openly with others. You always knew where you stood with Carol.
At the centre of it all, Carol had an unfaltering faith. In her opinion, prayer was the strongest gift you could give to someone. We all benefited from Carol's prayers and love. I know she valued her family and often spoke of you with high regard. She will be missed.
I am unable to attend her prayer service, but she will be in my heart as you lay her rest.
