Obituary of Dorothy Eleanor Lane

Dorothy Eleanor Lane, beloved by family and friends, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2018 in Saskatoon.
Dorothy is survived by brother Bob Coolidge, sister Norma Coolidge, three daughters, Kathy Bates (Randy), Andrea Lane, and Wendy Billett (Darryl); six grandchildren, Russell Bates (Olivia), Kristina Lee, Dustin Billett (Dez), Kyle, Brodie, and Treya Billett; and six great grandchildren, Elainah and Teaghan Bates, Germaine and Dakota Lee, and Carson and Brooklyn Billett.
Dorothy is predeceased by husband Percy, father and mother John and Olive Coolidge, and siblings Thelma Farthing and Bill Coolidge.
Dorothy was born on August 12, 1929 in Vancouver to John and Olive Coolidge.  She taught school in the Arlee area for three years before marrying her sweetheart Percy Lane.  Dorothy was a long-time loyal and devoted member of the Christian Science Church in Saskatoon.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Dorothy will be held at the Saskatoon Funeral Home on Saturday, September 15 at 10:30 am, with a reception to follow.  Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
