Obituary of Ann Klassen
KLASSEN, ANN
It is with peaceful sadness the family of Ann Klassen announce her passing on July 1st, 2018 in her home in Saskatoon surrounded by her family.
Mom was born March 8th, 1924 in Altonau, Ukraine. Her early life in Russia and Germany was difficult, but her faith was strong and her inner strength was immeasurable. She was predeceased by her parents, Maria and Johann; husband Jacob (Jack), siblings Alice, Margaret (Jake), Jake and Mary (Alec); grandson Blair; her parents in law, Abram and Helena; and their children, Henry (Doreen), Ernie, and Helen (Walter).
She is survived by her children: Brenda (Doug) Barker, Susan (Cal) Loeppky, Jim (Tracy) Klassen, Helga (Mark) Rosin, and Rhoda (Wayne) Dobler; sisters in law Edith (Lorne), Ruth and Mary and brother in law Bernhard; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
The Funeral Service will be at Bethany Manor Fellowship Center ( 110 Laronge Road, Saskatoon) on Friday, July 6th, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to her second family, the caregivers at Bethany Villa, and to Seniors First Home Care for their compassion and support which allowed her to remain in her home as was her final wish.
