As you may know, Matt was a regular and one of the administrators of a gaming community called Fugworld. Though I can't speak for everyone, he was well known to many regulars and other admins, and as I considered him a good friend to me, I'm sure he was also considered a good friend to dozens others in our group.
The thing I remember best about him is that whenever he played with us, he never stopped being the happiest and most cheerful person in the game. That made it an absolute pleasure and lot of fun to hang out with him. Whether we just played and talked banter, or talked about comics or other games or movies or anything in between, he always brought a smile to my face, and I'm sure to everyone else too. I often imagined him playing with his luchador mask on, always ready to kick ass, since that's what his profile picture on our website had him sporting. Whenever he joined a game we were on, I felt happy to see him join, and to welcome him, and sometimes even felt proud that such a cool guy knew me and considered me a friend.
Like I've said elsewhere, I may not have known him face to face, but I certainly did see the endlessly bright and positive light that he always shared with all of us. For that and many other reasons, I shall miss you greatly, Matt.
