Obituary of Margaret Wiebe
1923 - 2018
Margaret Wiebe (nee Bullin), age 95, of Saskatoon Saskatchewan, peacefully passed away on May 31, 2018 at St. Paul’s Hospital.
Margaret was born at the Bullin farm near Aberdeen to Anna and Frank Bullin, a twin to her brother Jake, on March 20, 1923. She attended the Hesseldale school near her home. Margaret was married to Frank Wiebe in Saskatoon in November, 1949. She worked hard on the farm to provide for her family. Margaret enjoyed sewing, gardening, walking her dog Rocky and driving her car. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and attending their numerous dance and music recitals and concerts.
Margaret is survived by her children Barbara Dyck, Les Wiebe, Brenda Wiebe and Marcus Wiebe, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, also by her sister Agnes Jabusch, and sisters-in-law Polly Bullin and June Bullin as well as numerous other relatives. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Anna and Frank Bullin, husband Frank Wiebe, daughter Victoria Wiebe, her brothers Pete (Helen), Frank (Gladys), John, Jack (Rose), and Cyril; her sisters Helen Wall ( Harry), and Ann Piquette.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors and staff at St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care in Saskatoon, for their kind and compassionate care during her final days.
The funeral service will be held at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338, 4th Ave N, Saskatoon Sk. on Friday June 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Henry Funk officiating. Interment will take place at the Aberdeen Mennonite Church Cemetery (formerly Olgafeld Cemetery).
