We are so sorry to hear of Brent's passing. Our sincerest condolences to Deb, and family. Brent was a fearsome adversary at the bridge table, but such a nice person, that it was enjoyable to play against him.

I was surprised and dismayed to hear of Brent's passing. He was young in years and at heart.
Brent always had a positive and optimistic attitude towards life. He loved to laugh and was always warm, friendly and light-hearted,
Hi intelligence and sense of humour were surpassed only by his compassion. I will miss him greatly.
Kira and Zach remember their fun times at Buffalo Pound Lake with him and the rest of the family, and send their heartfelt condolences and love.

Deb and Girls: We were so saddened upon hearing of Brent's passing. Last evening, I spent time visiting Bill Stevenson in hospital (Halifax) and we spent a good number of hours reminiscing over the good times that the Hochelaga and Athabasca St. gang shared with him at 344 Hochelaga, the Armouries, at Mission Lake and of course, the Lake. With the exception of Calvin MacPherson, Brent was the youngest of our crew but none the less, he was our mentor and role model during our high school years. Bill and I know that without his suggestion, Calvin, Stu, Terry Williams, George Gebkanjans, Bill or myself would never have joined Sea Cadets; leading the two of us to find and pursue careers in the Canadian Coast Guard, and ultimately settle down with families based in Atlantic Canada.
He was rarely bested at Bridge, Slalom skiing, the Rifle Range, the snooker table, or on the curling sheet. We learned backgammon, canasta, euchre, poker,Rimolli and Risk at the Moulding kitchen table and when the numbers permitted he taught us how to play Bridge. Please accept our deepest sympathy and regret that we cannot be with you to celebrate his life on Sunday... Lloyd, Brenda and Bill

Deb , my deepest condolences to you and your family . I worked for Brent from 1985-1993 at the private practice suite at the University of Saskatchewan at which time I moved to Calgary. Through all my years of dental assisting Brent remained the best boss a person could want. He taught me many lab procedures that were beyond the realm of dental assisting that I carried with me throughout the rest of my career. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this very difficult time .

Deb, I am so sorry for your profound loss. Brent was almost my twin -- birthdays just 5 days apart -- clearly so young, enjoying the fruits of his life.
I have no words to offer that can console your certain, utter grief; but know that you are surely in my heartfelt thoughts.
I trust that the wonderful lifetime of memories with Brent, along with the caring love and support of family and friends, will sustain you in the days and months ahead, Deb. -- Lil
