I may only have worked with Cal, but his passing felt like losing a close friend and mentor. I can say with confidence that I would not be where I am without his help and guidance. He would often listen to my rants about things (not always work related) and most of the time have some good, clear advice. He was more than a salesperson to me, and though I didn't spend time with him out of work, we shared some pretty great conversations over coffee (or iced caps) at his desk. He always asked about my wife and children by name, which always made me happy as it was certainly not the norm. He was a very kind man who had a major impact on my life, my family's life and our community as a whole. I miss him already and hope his family heals from this, knowing what a positive impact he had on others in his life.
