Obituary of Dale Wilson
Dale Thomas Wilson (Whippet), born on September 8, 1950 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, to the late Edna Mary Wilson and the late William Joyce Wilson, passed away suddenly at age 67 on March 18, 2018. He was described as having an infectious grin, incredible wit and heart of gold.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Myrna Wilson; daughter Candace Wilson (Tim Haight) Logan Haight, Anna Haight, daughter Carmen Wilson (Noel Blix) Ekko Blix; Logan Wilson (Heather Wilson) Rose Wilson, Amelia Wilson; brother, Bryan Wilson (Terry Wilson) and family.
Dale had a passion for farming, hockey, curling, fishing, slow pitch and helping others. He was a member of the United Church, and was involved in the Masonic Lodge as past Grand Master.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or another charity of your choice.
Special thanks to the Christopher Lake first responders and EMTs. His family takes solace in knowing that at his passing, he was doing what he loved, ice fishing, with his loving son Logan and dear friend Norm. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of his life, officiated by Joan Brown, on Friday, March 23 from 1:00 to 2:00pm with a tea reception to follow at the Saskatoon Funeral Home.
