Obituary of Rose Jean Kirkness

Rose Kirkness September 6, 1927-January 28, 2018 Our beloved mother, Rose, passed away peacefully Sunday morning January 28, 2018 at Stensrud Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Russell, parents, six of her siblings and her son-in-law John Davies. Rose leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Illa Davies and family, granddaughters Kim Davies (Korey), Marcy Both (Brad) and great granddaughter Amelia, grandson Russell (Jessica) and great grand children Waylon and Autumn. Son, Earnie (Diane), granddaughters, Robyn Zinn (Doug), great grandsons Tyler and Owen, Cristie Sellwood and great grandson Liam. Her sister Mary, sisters in-law Mary, Otley, Laura and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was born in Carmel, Saskatchewan and raised in several communities throughout the province. Rose’s career spanned fifty years in health care, most recently at City Hospital, until her retirement. We, the family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Stensrud Lodge and mom’s dear friend Phyllis for the compassion and care they extended to mom during her time of need.
