Brian and I knew Connie as a teacher and advocate for her fellow teachers as well as those individuals and groups who needed a voice. However, the first time I met Connie was when she was my son's teacher at the university. As a four year old he was in love with Connie and that affection continued throughout his
life. Connie always put the children first and was prepared to adapt programs and her teaching style to garner the best results from and for the children. She was a wonderful model for fellow teachers, children and we are sure for her family. Her family is blessed to have memories of times with her. Those memories will be a comfort now and in the future.
We are very sorry that we are unable to attend her memorial service. We will keep Joe, her children, grandchildren and her great grand child in our thoughts and prayers.
God accompanies and comforts at this time.

Sympathy sent your way at this time. May she rest in peace without pain at last.
I enjoyed meeting Connie and her husband at our class reunions. It has been years but I can still remember where she lived in Wadena. May the Good Lord comfort you with memories and heal your sorrowing hearts.
