Louis Arthur Joseph Florizone
January 24th, 1938 – October 15th 2017
The Florizone family is sad to announce the death of Louis Florizone. Louis passed away peacefully, at the age of 79, in St Anne’s nursing home surrounded by his wife and family. Louis lived in Saskatoon for the last 12 years, but originally farmed in the Vonda area.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Denise Florizone (Gareau), his five children and their spouses; John & Carmel (Martineau) Florizone, Lawrence & Georgette (Florizone) Kozakewich, Brian & Deanna (Van Dresar) Florizone, Robert & Ramona (Zerebeski) Florizone, Leonard & Christina (Chipeur) Florizone, his two brothers Paul (Annie), Lionel (Aline), his four sisters, Annette, Annemarie (James) Sawka, Rosemarie, Terry (Delcide) Lepage, sister in law Annette (Cales) Florizone, many other family, 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents Jerome & Emily (Gilliard), brother Emil, 2 nephews, 9 grandchildren before birth, and 1 great grandchild before birth.
Louis was a devoted husband and father. With his wife he loved to travel the world. He was a faithful Catholic, member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid Prolife supporter. He was always ready with a joke. Louis had a passion for building and started Buffer Valley Industries. He will be missed by many.
