Dear Leona and family,
We were sad to hear of Jim's passing. Jim was a special friend of our family. I loved his warm smile and caring and genuine way of being. I recall many fond memories of our families spending quality time together. As kids we would ask mom and dad if we could take a drive in the country on Sunday afternoons hoping to stop by your farm for a visit. Our families "clicked" - we had so much fun together (parents played marbles and kids played outside in the dark)! I will cherish these wonderful childhood memories. I am grateful that I was able to view the funeral online. It was a beautiful celebration of Jim's life. Please give our condolences to all the family. God bless. Love Denise & Kelly and family

Leona, Garth, Raymond, Russell and Sherry.
For many years, the highlight of my summer was always our visit at your place with your husband/father and yourselves. Jim made every one of us city kids feel welcome on the farm whether plopping us on a horse, finding some excuse to take us out on a tractor or some other manufactured excuse to expose us to farm life. He was a great man and with him, you became a great family. I'm thinking of you through this difficult time.
Brian
