Obituary of Randy Baraniuk

Randolph “Randy” Baraniuk September 17, 1955 – September 7, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy Baraniuk. He passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2017 after a long courageous battle against Alzheimer’s. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Hilda, his daughters; Jaime (Wade) Adam of Fort St. John, BC and Jackie (Jason) Schell of Wilkie, SK. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Payton, Keegan, Grace and Brynn, siblings Sharon (Denis), Ivy (Gerry), Colleen (Marc) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Eva, step-father Matt, sisters Phyllis, Betty and Sandra. Randy will always be remembered for his love of family and friends, snowmobiling, hunting, fastball and custom cars. He was a loyal, hardworking and social person who instilled those values in his children while having fun along the way. He had an infectious smile that could light up any room and cherished his time with family and friends. Friends and family are invited to a reception following the service at Mano’s Restaurant and Lounge, 200 1820 8th St. E. In lieu of flowers, we would ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan (www.alzheimer.ca/saskatchewan/).

Funeral

A Celebration of Life for Randy will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at the Edwards Family Centre (333 4th Ave N) in Saskatoon with Sue Panattoni as Celebrant. Those attending the service are welcome to use the parking lot across the street at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
