Brendon Vick
It is with saddened hearts that Brendon’s family announce his peaceful passing at home with his family surrounding him on September 2, 2017. Brendon was a loving husband, father, son, nephew, uncle and friend. Brendon is lovingly remembered by his wife Sarah (nee Dixon); his daughters Daneya and Jazlyn; his father Don Vick; sister Shauna Vick, nephew Makail Soloway, brother in law Dave Soloway, ; parents in-law Dave and Trish Dixon; sister in-law Heidi (Craig) Cancade, niece Brooke Cancade; Sister in-law Leah (Patrick) Clark and nieces Tegan and Norah Clark; Brother in-law Douglas Dixon and Great Grandma June Heidgerken and his faithful companion Taya, along with numerous family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Joyce Vick (nee Campbell). Brendon was born July 2, 1974 in North Battleford and grew up on the family farm in the Harris / Tessier area. In 2006, Brendon and Sarah were married and lived in Saskatoon. Together they built a family that included his two daughters that meant the world to him. Brendon managed to keep his wonderful sense of humour throughout his courageous fight with Brain Cancer. His humour and love of storytelling, gave way to numerous public speaking opportunities. Brendon enjoyed walks with Taya, playing cards, hockey, ball, volleyball, fishing, and instigating friendly competition. But most of all, he enjoyed time with family especially his precious girls.
