Obituary of Trudy Gallagher

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that the family of Trudy (Gertrude) Gallagher announces her sudden passing on August 8th, 2017 at her home in Saskatoon. Trudy was born in 1932 in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan. After high school Trudy moved to Calgary to begin a career in nursing, where she very quickly determined this was not her calling. She then moved to Saskatoon to join the T. Eaton Company where she married Ernest Gallagher July 4, 1956. Trudy was a homemaker for their busy family for many years returning to work in banking until her retirement. Trudy was predeceased by her parents Karl and Therese Erhardt and husband Ernest Gallagher. She is survived by her partner Milburn Smith, two sisters Ingrid Jeanotte and Irma Stone, three sons Doug (Sherry), Ron (Lin) and Kelly (Adrienne), ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous extended family members. Trudy loved her family and enjoyed spending time in her garden, playing piano and traveling to exotic places. Trudy will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
