He was my mentor when working in the lumber field and was always very patient and pleasant with me. I held the highest respect for him and enjoyed the company of both he and your mother at our FCL lumber social events.
So sorry to hear of Colin's passing. He and Joyce were wonderful people and we always enjoyed their company. Colin was my mentor. In 1960, then the second man in a two man lumber yard at Meadow Lake Co-op, I set my career goal to take any position offered to me that would lead me to be more like him.
