Obituary of Kenneth MacLellan

Ken MacLellan (March 23, 1952- February 16, 2017) It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved nephew, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend, Kenneth (Ken) Reid MacLellan who passed away at home in Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Ken is predeceased by his father Vernon Hugh MacLellan and his mother Marian MacLellan (nee McLeod). Ken was born on the 23rd of March 1952 in Kamsack, Saskatchewan and at the age of 5 moved to Saskatoon. He attended Evan Hardy Collegiate and later the University of Saskatchewan. In 1974 Ken obtained a BSc. Chem. Eng. Degree graduating “With Great Distinction” and was recipient of the Governor General’s Gold Medal for Academic Achievement. Ken moved to Calgary to work as an engineer with in the petroleum business until he retired in 2005.
