Joan and family - Very sorry to hear about the passing of cousin Erwin. Many fond memories of Erwin's numerous visits to my parent's place in Saskatchewan. Dad and Erwin liked to talk about what was happening on the farm, Erwin's power lineman career, politics, and Erwin's new passion of flying. Erwin gave dad an airplane ride from Calgary back to Saskatchewan many years ago, Erwin was wondering why the plane was making so much noise during the trip. Upon landing, Erwin discovered that dad's passenger door wasn't closed all the way, dad's coat was partially caught in the door. Since my dad was a farmer, it was likely no big deal to him, just a little extra prairie breeze, but Erwin was very particular with details and flying procedures so he likely had a bit of high blood pressure after that trip. To our family, Erwin was always friendly, very down-to-Earth, and loved to participate in family gatherings anytime he could. Deepest condolences to Joan, Shannon (Dave), Tracey (Jason), Terri, Tamara (Craig), Les (Diane), Elaine (Derek), and all of Erwin's extended family, grandchildren, cousins, and friends. Another good man has departed too soon. Rest in peace cousin Erwin.
