Obituary of Margaret Wilson
Passed away on June 2, 2017 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her loving Husband Ian in 2016, deeply missed by her family are her daughter Gail (Dennis), her son Bryan (Beverly), five grandsons and eight great- grandchildren. Bette, only child of Major Stuart(Tommy) and Mina Thomson, was born and raised in Yorkton, Sask. Married in 1945, to a "kiwi," she later travelled to New Zealand to rejoin her husband. In 1947 they came back to Saskatoon, where, through her work she supported her husband at 6 years of University. She was Secretary to the Correspondence School, U of S, and later of the Biochemistry dept. Active in the Home and School Movement in the Sixties, and also the Women's Committee of the Symphony. 1966- 73 Exec Sec. Saskatoon Symphony Society; at the same time she was on the Executive of the Saskatoon branch of the Canadian Pony Club; in Regina ,she became Sask. District Commissioner for the Canadian Pony Club; 74-80, Exec Sec., Regina Symphony Society; 1981-85, Board member, Persephone Theatre; 1980- 92, Clinic office supervisor, College of Dentistry.
