I had the good fortune to work at CIBC Main Branch Saskatoon in 1966 -70 when your grandfather was the manager. I remember your Mother coming in and how truly "glowing' she was. She always had a smile and a happy word to all the staff. I'm sure you have many happy memories and I send you sincere sympathy at this time. -

Teri,Kathy and Kelly.
It is very sad to bid farewell to a longtime friend, neighbor and "special angel" Glow introduced me to Stella who filled my life with love and a wonderful family.
In later years we enjoyed visiting in Glow's lovely backyard which she tended wth loving care. For many years we benifited the bounty from her raspberry patch.
I am forever grateful to Glow.
My deepest heartfelt sympathy to you.

I was also a classmate of Glow's and send my sincere condolences to family and friends. The love she shared with her children is very obvious in the beautiful tribute which I just watched. Thank you for making that available.

Dear Kathy and Kelly,
I know that what you are going through right now is very difficult, just know that I am only a phone call away and will always be here for you. I am truly saddened for your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting your Mum, but I remember skyping with her over Christmas one year and she was so warm and I loved her humour!
Just remember, when we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us.
Our sincere condolences and our love go out to you both.
Love Bonny, Jamie and Raphael

My sincere condolences to Glow's family. She lived her name. I remember her with great affection when I worked on a research project in the Selective test centre at RUH. I usually left work laughing about something she had said. She was a diamond in the rough; an amazing woman I feel so honoured to have met her on my life's journey. The world needs more "Glow!"

Glow entered into my life through her daughter Kelly when I was 18 years old. I believe it was fate. I came home from my first day of engineering college at the UofS in 1982 and told my Mom about this great friend that I had just met who was a fellow first year female student named Kelly Callfas. Mom went immediately to the telephone and called Glow...whom she had gone to Nursing school with 25 years before. Sure enough, Kelly's Mom Glow and my Mom, Bertha (Bert) had gone to nursing college together, then lost touch but had daughters within months of each other on different continents, and then the daughters met and became fast friends on day one of college. A full circle and a wonderful connection...no doubt celestially arranged. Kelly is still my dearest friend and through her, I got to know Glow and her intelligence and wit. She will live on in Kelly's stories and memories. Her courage when facing a terrible disease was amazing.
On behalf of my Mom and me, I would like to extend our love and condolences to Kelly and her sisters in this difficult time. May loving memories bring you peace, comfort and strength today and always.

Sending my deepest condolences to Glow's family Teri, Kathy, and Kelly. I had the pleasure of being neighbours with the family from the age of 3, and hold many memories of life involving Kathy and Kelly, and David (RIP). I was also fortunate during the start of the tech age to have received emails from Glow about things happening back home in Saskatoon, or just including a joke. It was a blessing for Glow to be able to have her daughters be there for her over the course of her illness. I know their lives were very blessed having her as a Mother. I wish strength and resilience for her family during this time, and forward.

To the family of our Mom's Dear Friend Glow!
Mom and Glow met later in life, they were neighbours for a short period of time, but they were friends forever! They both had incredible life stories and their zest for life drew them to each other! We are sure not many days went by without them talking, as our Moms health failed it broke her heart to not talk to her friends.....these were not short conversations...these were hours of talking!! We know you are feeling incredible emptiness and loss right now, we hope in time you will find comfort as you reflect on your Mom's incredible life. It will take time but we know time will ease your pain and memories will heal your hearts! We are so grateful for their friendship!
