JENANN THOMSON
1953 - 2017
Jenann Earlene (Haight) Thomson passed away in the early hours of February 18, 2017 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 63. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 42 years, Warren Neil Thomson and their five children Michael (Melissa) Thomson; Scott (Michelle) Thomson; Stephen (Whitney) Thomson; Christine (Danny) Mills; Heather (Brayden) Szondi; her grandchildren Dylan Thomson, Sawyer Mills, Lyla Thomson, River Thomson, Grayson Mills, and Etta Thomson, her brother Garry Haight and a niece and nephews. Jenann was predeceased by her parents Earle and Beulah Haight and brother Dr. Kenneth Haight. Jenann was born and raised in Saskatoon where she met her husband and earned her Education Degree at the University of Saskatchewan. While in Saskatoon the couple started their family of five children, and Jenann taught for two years in the Saskatoon Public School System, eventually moving to Eston, Saskatchewan to farm and raise their family. Jenann was a substitute teacher for many years in Eston and surrounding areas and was very active in the Eston Full Gospel Church. Jenann also devoted much of her time to La Leche League Canada, an organization she was very passionate about. She had a love for birds throughout her life, her longest companion being her cockatiel, Baby. She was a friend to many, but her dearest friend was her Lord and Saviour. Her family gratefully asks that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation (1702 20th St. W. Saskatoon, SK S7M 9Z9)
