So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. She golfed with our Ladies Golf Group at the Kenora Golf & Country Club for many years. We enjoyed her gentle, kind, & soft-spoken presence and missed her when she did not come. She was a good golfer too! My heartfelt sympathy to the family--she will be missed.

Dear Diane, Sheila, Frank and families: We were so sorry to hear of your great loss. Joan was such a happy, caring and positive person. She added sunshine to every visit. After a lifetime of close friendship with my Mom, Joan never failed to stop in Winnipeg for a visit with each of her trips to Hawk Lake. They shared so many wonderful memories together over the years. We will hold you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Marg and Ron

To the Family, With our deepest sympathies to all of you at this this sad time. Joan was always kind and so welcoming with a generosity of spirit. She took a genuine interest in those she met. Mom always looked forward to her visits and greatly enjoyed the many lunches and gab sessions over the years with her and Lexie. Times at Hawk Lake are forever etched in my memories of her. I know she will be greatly missed.
With our kindest regards and sincere condolences
Linda and Joe Driedger
