Obituary of Anna Opanasiuk

Anna Opansiuk also known as Ann to family and friends, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Royal University Hospital at the age of 87 years. Ann is survived by her brother Peter, nephews Ronald and Brian, niece Tammy, great niece Tiffany, niece Elsa and great nephew Nathan. Ann was pre-deceased by her father Nestor in 1964, her mother Katherine in 1986, her sister Helen in 1989 and her sister Marie in 1997. Ann was born and raised on the family farm in the district of Shell Lake SK, (formerly known as the Village of Hawkeye). There she attended Lynwood school and later the Saskatoon Business College. Ann lived most of her life in Saskatoon where she was employed in the offices of many organizations and various businesses. After retirement she did many hours of volunteer work.
