on January 22, 1924 in Drancze, Poland (now

Albin led a very active life on the farm where
they raised their family. Ann was an active
member of the Rama Orthodox Church for
over 50 years, and later became an active
member of the Wadena Ukrainian Orthodox
Church of All Saints and the Ukrainian
Orthodox Church of All Saints in Saskatoon. It
was in 1999 that Ann and Albin moved into
Wadena. Following Albin’s passing in 2001
Ann moved to the Ilarion Residence in
Saskatoon in 2006 and more recently in 2014
to St. Joseph’s Home. Ann was an avid
gardener, wonderful cook and had a huge
heart for all animals. She was an active
member of the Royal Canadian Legion
alongside her husband Albin. She was a loving
Baba to all her grandchildren and great-
grandchildren. Ann was an amazing
seamstress, making clothes for all her

knitting and crocheting. She loved cooking
and preparing meals for her family and
friends, especially on holidays making her
traditional Ukrainian dishes. Always an active
volunteer Ann became very involved with her
new church when she moved to Saskatoon
making pyrogies, cabbage rolls, paskas and
babkas. Ann will be forever remembered and
dearly missed by her loving family and many
friends. .
