I was sorry to learn of the passing of Bill. As a prairie boy in Saskatchewan, I knew and respected Bill over a long career with the bank. He had a quiet demeanour but a character of fairness and integrity. During my time in Saskatoon branch, Bill worked on the upper floor of our building as a Senior Credit Officer in the Regional Office. I would often see Bill slipping down from his office and sitting with one of our young credit officers and providing invaluable advice on credit applications. He was respected by all of our team. I express my sincere sympathy to Marj and family.
