Dan was such a gentle-spirit and kind person, with a wonderful sense of humour. I met Dan, when he interviewed me for a position in the Division for Parish Life, ELCIC...what I most remember from that interview, was his asking me to sit in a specific chair, and when I did, I found out it had no springs and I sunk way, way, down, almost to the floor. Dan thought this was so funny! Around him, and the building were many card-board boxes, as the whole office was moving from the rental space on Hargrave St, to the National Offices on St. James St. It was a privilege to have been a co-worker with Dan, at the National Office, and then to see him again, when Dan and Brenda moved to Saskatoon, and I was then in Seminary. God continue to comfort you, Brenda, with his peace and love. ~~Donna J.
