I would like to share a memory for the family.
I loved Jackie’s quilt shop 440. I have made many beautiful quilts from the excellent choice she made in putting together her quilt kits. Especially for kids.
They have been made and given to others as gifts.
Her quilt kits have given warm hugs to the people I have shared them with.
A beautiful legacy.
I also loved the Christmas in sale in July.
I will truly miss her store but have many great memories.
My sincere condolences to the family.
She was a treasure to her family and the quilt community.❣️

Colin, I have such good memories of us going to Israel in the same travel group as you and Jackie. It was a privilege to meet Jackie and get to know her even a little on the trip. My favorite memory of Jackie is how she walked all the way up Masada and she was the only woman in our group who had the tenacity to do it. She was a woman of strength and God shone through her.

Colin, I just learned of Jackie’s passing. I do not have the words to express how dreadfully sorry I am for your loss.
I knew Jackie when she was a teacher and, of course, through the shop. She will be sorely missed.

I got to know Jackie in the early years of our teaching careers at Brevoort Park School. Not only was she an excellent teacher but she had this wonderful ability of encouraging and helping her colleagues and making lasting friendships. I have such great memories of the many adventures Jackie instigated with Marion, Irma and myself over the years which included endless fun and laughter. My deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of such a unique, special person. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Margie

What a loss. My life was enriched greatly by Jackie. I will always remember her and be grateful for her kindnesses to me and her thoughtful questions and contributions in our care group. She also put on a great turkey dinner. I thank God for Jackie and look forward to seeing you again.

In my retirement Jackie inspired me to find my true passion - quilting. Through Jackie and her staff's assistance at the 440 Quilt Shop, I was encouraged and found purpose sewing throws for children experiencing difficult times. I will be forever grateful for Jackie's generosity.

I am devastated by the loss of my beautiful friend, Jackie. Our days teaching together at Greystone Heights were memorable for so many reasons, not the least of which was learning from the best - Jackie. We shared so very many laughs and tears throughout the years with abundantly more tears having fallen since Monday's notice of Jackie's passing. I am immensely grateful for our friendship and offer my sincere condolences to all of Jackie's family. She was indeed a gift to this world. Rest well, my friend.
