Sending all my thoughts and love to the family, friends, and everyone Ruby made a connection with. She was truly a light in so many people’s lives. I remember when she first came to our small town, she was someone I knew I wanted to be friends with. Her and her family welcomed me with open arms into their life and I am so grateful for them. I can’t even count how many adventures, giggles, and shenanigans we got ourselves into - and I wouldn’t change a thing. Ruby brought joy to so many people, and although we grew apart after graduation, we still occasionally connected and it was as though nothing had changed. I will always see Ruby not for her struggle or her mental illness, but for the beautiful, kind, selfless human who I am proud to call my friend. I love you Rubs.
